MurayamaI AlA City of Fort Worth 1000 Throckmorton Street Fort Worth, Texas 76102 Re: Interior Design Services Will Rogers Memorial Center Coliseum Concourse Renovation Dear Dalton: This letter is to address the scope changes in our initial proposal letter from May 28, 2008, copy attached. Our original scope of work was to develop a finishes package for the concourse level of the Will Rogers Coliseum Facility. Throughout the course of our meetings, the scope of work was increased to include not only finishes for the concourse level of the Coliseum, but design concepts for the following: • Entry design options for the Main Lobby Entry to the Concourse • Design Concepts for the Main Concession Area • Restroom Design Concepts for all restrooms in the facility • Design Concepts for the Entry Doors from the Exhibit Hall • Design Concepts for a Signage and Graphics package Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford has currently completed work in Phase I and II of the original proposal. There were no CAD drawings but hand drawings were updated for estimating purposes. The fee for that phase has not changed. Phase II was the Finish Scheme portion and that was where the scope and fee increased to include the above mentioned items. These are the only two phases of work completed at this time. Also, additional scope was added to the deliverables for this project. These include the following: • Restroom Evaluation Spreadsheet -Each restrocm was reviewed for condition of finishes, fixtures, and partitions. This was documented in a spreadsheet and used for cost estimating purposes. • Computer Renderings - Renderings were generated to show before and after images that incorporated the proposed design concepts for (6) different areas. • Preliminary Cost Estimates - A preliminary cost estimate was generated with help from The DeMoss Company to help determine the cost impact for the Design Concepts being developed, including two revisions. NHS has completed the Conceptual Design Phase of the project including the additional scope changes. This work encompasses Phases I and II only from the original contract and the previously noted added scope. Phases III and IV were not completed from the original contract. The fee for this work (Phases I and II plus the additional scope) does not exceed the original contract amount. A revised proposal was issued on June 8, 2009 as requested by Don Powell, copy attached, to reflect the scope and fee changes to complete the Architectural and Engineering of the new scope of work. Within that new proposal the work already completed is noted in PART 1, Phase 1 of the document. It is shown as completed and the total dollar amount equals the initial fee in the original May 28, 2008 proposal. 1 hope this explains the work completed to date and the evolution of the project. These scope changes were directed by and in coordination with Mr. Kirk Slaughter and Mr. Chris Harmon. Attached are documents showing the history and documentation on this project.
