RE: Oil and Gas Lease dated August 1, 20083 between CITY OF FORT WORTH, as Lessor,
and CHIEF RESOURCES LLC, as Lessee; filed as Instrument #D208410221, Official Records,
Tarrant County, Texas
Dear Sir:
Quicksilver Resources Inc. ("Quicksilver") has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with
Eni US Operating Co. Inc. and Eni Petroleum US LLC dated as of May 15, 2009, whereby Quicksilver is
selling an undivided 27.5% of its interests in the above -referenced lease (the "Lease").
Pursuant to the terms set forth therein, Quicksilver hereby seeks to obtain consent to assign the
subject Lease. Please indicate your consent to this assign���ent by signing belo:v and returning this letter
to the undersigned in the enclosed, self addressed and stamped envelope at your earliest convenience, but
no later than 5*00pm, Friday, June 5, 2009. Your non -response prior to said date shall be deemed as
granting your consent herein and Quicksilver Resources Inc. shall have no further rights to you with
respect to the matters set forth in this letter.
