FIRST EXTENTION TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO 37496
THIS FIRST EXTENTION to City Secretary Contract No. 37496 (hereinafter "Extension") is
entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home -rule municipality in the State of
Texas, acting through Fernando Costa, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Goodwill
Industries of Fort Worth, Inc. ("Contractor"), a Texas non-profit corporation located in Tarrant
County, Texas by and through 0 GI is S ji crk its duly authorized PresidentNice-President.
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into that certain agreement identified as City Secretary
Contract No. 37496 (also the "Contract") commencing on July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009
with two one-year extensions for the provision of recycling and re -use or, as appropriate, disposal of
certain electronic waste equipment from City's citizens for the purpose of providing an effective,
affordable and environmentally sound process for disposition of such items for all areas within the
city limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor wish to exercise the first extension option; and
WHEREAS, the parties agree that all other conditions, terms and pricing shall remain the same as
stated in City Secretary Contract No. 37496.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, and other
good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged and
confessed, the parties hereto agree as follows:
The Partnership Agreement With Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, Inc. For Electronic Waste
Collection, Reuse, Recycling And Disposal Services known as City Secretary Contract No 37496
shall be extended pursuant to Section 1 "Term" for its first one-year extension being for the time of
July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
