JUSTIFICATION SUN MARY
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS CON STRUCTiON ALLOWANCE REQUEST,THE CONTRACTOR SHALL:Furnish all labor and material
as per attached proposed Construction Allowance Request(with attachments)to the Construction Allowance Request:This construction
allowance request is to add Items 47C,47D,668,66C, 133D,193A, 193B and Remove Item 23. Pavement in TxDOT Right of Way was
designed for 10"Concrete on 4'Type D Hot Mix Asphalt on 10"Lime Treated Subgrade. TxDOT requested the 4'Type D base layer be
Superpave instead(an alternate version of asphalt mix). Item 47C is being added to replace Item 23. Item 47D is to remove and replace a
fence on adjacent gas well site in order to build a retaining wall on the back of the 10'sidewalk. 66B and 66C are for major and minor sewer
manhole adjustments and are two items that were needed and shown in the plans but not included as pay items. Item 133D is added to
provide a temporary traffic signal solution at the 377 intersection for when the railroad crossing is closed. 193A is for a blow off valve on
Keller's waterline,the blow off valve was in the plans but wasn't included as a pay item. 193E is explorartory work to confirm where/how the
Keller waterline was to be built. The contractor found in 2 places the existing waterline had already been upgraded to the proposed plan and
contractor needed to do some explorartory digging to find had already been done. 193A and 193B will be paid by City of Keller and they have
approved the two items.
