COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and DMJM Aviation, Inc (Engineer)
made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 36316 (the Contract) which was
authorized by the City Council by M&C C- 22531 on the 27th day of November, 2007;
and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project:
Engineering Service For:
Phase 6 Under On -Call Engineering Services Contract for Design of Airfield
Signs, Airport Beacon Relocation, Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring
System and Construction Phase Services for Projects at Fort Worth Alliance
Airport, Contract No. 36316.
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said
Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the
Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services
specified in a proposal letter dated August 25, 2008, a copy of which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by
Engineer total $ 23,860.50.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum
fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as
amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed
the sum of $147,368,55,
3.
All other provisions of the contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall
remain in full force and effect.

Re: General Engineering Consultant Services
For Design of Electrical Improvements
Dear Mr. Sahu:
The attached man hour summary outlines our fee proposal for additional engineering
services related to the Phase 6 On -Call Engineering Services Contract for Design of
Electrical Improvements at Fort Worth Alliance Airport.
We propose an increase in the Design Phase Services Fee $23,860.50. The increase in the
Design Phase Services is for:
A. Additional work associated with the relocation of Airport Beacon. Additional
Design Phase Services Fee requested is $8,370.50.
B. Additional work associated with the addition of a fiber optic cable between
the existing electrical vault and the control tower. Additional Design Services
Fee requested is $5,700.00.
C. Additional work associated with the addition of 20 airfield guidance signs to
the contract. The 20 airfield signs are to be upgraded. Additional Design
Services Fee is $9,790.00.

Re: Alliance Airport — ALRCS Additional Services
Dear Mr. Gaines:
This letter is for additional electrical engineering services for the Alliance Airport
Signage project. These services include designing a fiber optic cable for the
airfield lighting remote control system. This design assumes that there is existing
pathway for routing of the new cable.
The services will include preparing contract drawings and specifications for the
new fiber optic cable and providing construction administration services.
Ferguson Consulting, Inc will perform the above mentioned scope items for a
lump sum fee not to exceed $59700.00 (Five thousand seven hundred dollars and
no/100). A breakdown follows:

Dear Mr. Gaines:
This letter is for additional electrical engineering services for the Alliance Airport
Signage project. These services include designing an additional twenty-three
(23) signs and merging the two signage packages into a single package.
The services will include preparing contract drawings and specifications for
additional signs and providing construction administration services. There are no
additional expenses or bidding services anticipated.
Ferguson Consulting, Inc will perform the above mentioned scope items for a
lump sum fee not to exceed $91790.00 (Nine thousand seven hundred ninety
dollars and no/100). A breakdown follows:
