Pursuant to the terms of that certain Oil and Gas Lease dated �; � G5E 1,�� �'
("CFW Lease"), by and between the City of Fort Worth, as Lessor, and Chesapeake
Exploration, L.L.C. ("Chesapeake"), as Lessee, Chesapeake herein requests your
consent to pool the CFW Lease with other leases as set forth herein in order to properly
explore, develop, and promote conservation of oil and gas in and under the leased
premises.
Chesapeake is the owner of the oil and gas leases (approximately 98.4 acres) which
are contiguous with the CFW Lease. It is our intention to form a unit (y of EUless
Unit") comprised of approximately 103.0 acres more or less, with approximately 4.6
acres utilized from the CFW Lease. The configuration of all the leases and our
geological interpretation of the area underlying the leases support our planned
development. Enclosed for your review is a survey plat map indicating the proposed
City of Euless Unit and our proposed development plan.
Please indicate your approval of Chesapeake pooling the lands and leases described
herein by signing this letter in the space provided on the following page and returning
the executed copy to the attention of the undersigned. As discussed, Chesapeake
intends to commence operations within a week, so your earliest response would be
