AMENDMENT No.4
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 37238
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Freese and Nichols, Inc. ,
(ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 37238 , (the
CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-22871 on the 7t:h day of June,
2008 in the amount of $ 177, 702 ; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment Number
1 in the amount of $1, 102 , 424 which was authorized by M&C C-23507 on May
12 , 2009; Amendment Number 2 in the amount of $59, 821 which was
authorized by M&C C-24166 on May 13 , 2010 and Amendment Number 3 in the
amount of $4 , 909 on December 10, 2012 ; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project:
Clearfork Main Street Bridge Traffic Control Plan for the
installation of the Screen Fence and Bridge Lighting; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 4 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee .
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to inclijd the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal dated ;-32013, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals
$3, 000. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -3-)

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $1, 347, 856.

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect .

Re: City Project No. 00107, TPW Project No. C221 and C295
Clearfork Main Street Bridge: Proposal to provide a traffic control plan for the installation of the
screen fence and bridge lighting.
Dear Mr. Wilson:
This letter is written in response to your verbal request on 4/19/13 to Freese and Nichols (FNI) for
additional engineering services for the design of the Clearfork Main Street Bridge project. The additional
services were for a traffic control plan for the installation of the screen fence. FNI responded via email
with a fee estimate and schedule on 4/19/13 after which the City also requested the traffic control plan
for the installation of the bridge lighting.
To not hinder the construction schedule FNI has already completed the following additional scope of
services:
Project Scope--Clearfork-Traffic Control Plan
Develop two additional plan sheets for the traffic control plan on the bridge for the contractor to install
the screen fence.
Develop two additional plan sheets for the traffic control plan on the bridge for the contractor to install
the bridge lighting.
Deliverables
FNI has already submitted the following.
1. Submit a PDF version of the preliminary screen fence traffic control plan sheets for discussions
with the City of Fort Worth Traffic Group
2. Upon approval of the preliminary plans, submit a PDF of the final screen fence traffic control
sheets to the City of Fort Worth
3. Submit a PDF of the final traffic control plan to install the bridge lights.

Compensation
FNI proposed to provide the above mentioned services for a lump sum fee of$3,000.
