COUNTY OF TARRANT S
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City} and Jacobs Engineering
Group, Inc. (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract
No. 39313, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by
M&C C-23768 on the 15th day of October 2009, and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Design, Fill and Regrade of Noise Properties, Project No. 1399
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to
said contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum
fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated October 5,
2010, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The
cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by
Engineer total $10,568,68,
2.
Article TI of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase
in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services
performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by
the City of all work and services shall not exceed the sum of
$2391905.80.

All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly
amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Prepare final construction plans including engineering, design and drafting for the relocation of
approximately 1200 linear feet of 24" water line. The plans will be prepared in accordance with
the City of Fort Worth criteria. This scope will include (2) coordination meetings with the City of
Fort Worth Water Department. Detailed design shall be provided each of the water plan, profile,
and details for the relocation of the proposed 24" waterline that is to extend from Lincoln Ave.
along NW 34th St. to the existing line extending from Loving Ave.
Prepare construction specifications and quantities for the 24" waterline.
If we are requested to become involved with any of the following items, we will be pleased to
provide them for additional fees to be determined at that time.
• Construction staking or any other surveying services.
• Preparation of separate instrument easement documents or vacation Instruments.
• Modeling of the water system(or waterline)
• Geotechnical investigations shall be provided by other's.
• As -Built surveys.
• Periodic Site Visits.
• Construction Management or Administration (including RR's

WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Jacobs Engineering
Group, Inc. (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract

WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:

Improvements), Project No. 1399
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to
said contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum
fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement which amends the Contract:

2011, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The
cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by
Engineer total $10,500.00.

Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase
in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services
performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by
City of Fort Worth, Texas

Per your request, we are providing a scope of work and a fee proposal fior limited review of
RF1's, shop drawings and site visits up to the limit of this contract. This contract is a cost plus
contract with rates as shown below.
The enclosed fee shows a not to exceed an amount of $10,500.00 unless authorized with hourly
billing rates of;

• The scope of work for construction phase services is summarized below. We
anticipate that the construction phase services contract for engineering services
will be a not to exceed reimbursable agreement. The following work items are
estimated assuming a one -hundred -twenty (150) calendar day construction period.
