STATE OF TEXAS 8 CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. OS51-AI
COUNTY OF TARRANT 8
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. (Engineer) made and
entered into City Secretary Contract No. 40551, (the Contract) which did not require Council Approval; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project:
Apron C Improvements, Project No. 1573
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said Contract to include
an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee for construction management phase
services;
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the Contract:

Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in
the proposal letter dated April 15, 2011, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by ENGINEER shall not exceed
$5,0002140
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to
ENGINEER for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total
fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $14,059.28.

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full
force and effect.

Dear Ruseena:
Per your request on March 31, 2011, we are providing scope of Work, fee proposal, not to
exceed, for limited review of BFI's, shop drawings and site visits. Assumptions and summary of
required contractors submittals and tests are included for the above referenced project. This
contract is a cost plus contract with rates as shown below.
Th® ®nclosed scope and fee shows a not to exceed $5,000.14 with hourly rates of;
Project manager $190.14 / Hour
Senior Engineer 177.51/ Hour
Design Engineers 140.18/ Hour
Clerical 64.06 / Hour
Cost for reproduction and trip expenses are a reimbursable at cost.
The cost for mylars that were delivered on February 8, 2011 is $250.00 and is included in this
fee proposal.
