Home My WebLink AboutContract 51148-A1 CSC No.51148-A1 AMENDMENT No. 1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 51148 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Multatech Engineering, Inc. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 51148, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-28764 on the 26 day of June, 2018 in the amount of $ 339,878. 00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: MCCART AVE & ALTAMESA BLVD; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $24,864. 00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2 . Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $364, 742. 00. 3. All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect. EXECUTED and EFFECTIVE as of the date last written by a signatory, below. These modifications were at the request of the City of Fort Worth Traffic Management. SCOPE MODIFICATIONS 1. PLAN MODIFICATIONS A. Revise base files to remove the bulb-outs on Altamesa Blvd. in the northwest and northeast corners of the intersections. B. Redesign the existing ramps in the northwest and northeast corner to make ADA compliant C. On northbound McCart Ave, modify existing lane widths and reduce existing median to add a second left-turn lane. All lanes (3-through and 2-left) will be 11' width. This modification will require adding additional sheets to the plans. 2. TRAFFIC MODIFICATIONS A. Prepare VISSIM model to accommodate wied-median offset left-turn lanes. B. Modify ped pole locations in the northeast and northwest corners. C. Revise westbound Altamesa Blvd. signals to accommodate three through lanes (the previous design was for two through lanes). D. Modify signal plans to add a second left-turn lane on northbound McCart Ave. 3. TxDOT COORDINATION A. Prepare exhibits of scope modifications for TxDOT review and approval B.
