associates, L.P., WNGIN R) made and enter into City
ocretary Contract No. 40923, (CONTRACT) which was authorized
by MC C - 2 4 4 91 on the 2 8th day of Septethber, 2010 in the
amount of $263,800.00.
WHIERIEAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for
the following project:
Water Main Relocation Along State Highway 114 at F.M.
156; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment
No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work
and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINExR, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT:
1.
Article I of the, CONTRACT is amended to include the
additional engineering seKvi --.es specified in a proposal dated
August 14, 2013, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional
design services to he performed by Engineer totals
$10,000.00.
2.
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an
increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that
the total fee paid by the City for all work and services
shall be an amount of $273 , 800.00

Dear Mr. Sauceda:
Dunaway Associates, L.P. is pleased to present this Amendment No. 1 for the following
additional services that are beyond our original scope of services.
Dunaway Associates, L.P. (Dunaway) is pleased to submit for your consideration this
proposal for professional land surveying services on the above -referenced project. Based on
our e-mail correspondence over the last month, we believe the following scope of services
will meet your needs for this project.
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Preparation of Sinned/Sealed Metes and Bounds Descriptions and Exhibits
for Two (2) Water Easements and two (2) Temporary Construction
Easements — Dunaway will provide signed/sealed parcel plats and legal
descriptions for areas (see attached Exhibit A) to be acquired for water
easement purposes. The parent tracts of land in which these proposed
easements will be located is across a tract of land described to Beechwood
Portfolio Investments, LLC, in Document Number 2010-72091 and across a
tract of land described to Oak Creek Trails Partners, L P. in Document
Number 2005-25409 .These exhibits and descriptions will substantially
conform to the current Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying. No
buildings, improvements, or other surface features will be shown on the face
of the exhibits. Dunaway will provide any title research and abstracting
necessary to complete this task.
2. Preparation of Signed/Sealed Metes and Bounds Description and Exhibit for
One (1) Permanent Sanitary Sewer Easement , Dunaway will provide a
signed/sealed parcel plat and legal description for one area (see attached
Exhibit 8) to be acquired for utility easement purposes. The parent tract of

FEE
land in which this proposed easement will be located is Lot 2, Block 17,
Westover Hills, Volume 388-32, Page 82. This tract of land is located at 6207
Westover Drive, respectively. This exhibit and description will substantially
conform to the current Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying. No
buildings, improvements, or other surface features will be shown on the face
of the exhibit. Dunaway will provide any title research and abstracting
necessary to complete this task.
The horizontal datum for the survey on which these exhibits and metes and
bounds descriptions will be based is NAD83, Texas North Central Zone, 4202
(State Plane Coordinates).
As owner of the property, Client hereby authorizes Surveyor to enter upon the
property for the purposes of conducting Surveyors work thereon If Client is
not the owner of the property, Client is to obtain such authorization from
owner and provide same in writing to Surveyor at the same instance that
Surveyor receives the written notice to proceed.
Preparation of One (1) Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Permit —
Dunaway will prepare appropriate permit forms and associated exhibits for
submittal by the City for the railroad crossing located north of SH 114 and just
south of Petty Place adjacent to the east side of FM 156. All railroad fees
would be paid for directly by the City.
Dunaway proposes to provide the above described scope of work for a LUMP SUM fee of
$10,000.
The following is a partial list of services that are not anticipated to be required for your project
and are not proposed to be provided by Dunaway. Some of these services can be provided if
they are requested or if it is later determined that they are necessary. In general, additional
services will be authorized either by a contract amendment or a separate proposal

2. Topographic Surveying
3. Platting Services
Only those services specifically mentioned in the Scope of Work section are offered as a part
of this proposal.
