JUSTICE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION"
TRAINING AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, effective the 26th day of September of 2012, By and Between the National
Humane Law Enforcement Academy (NHLEA), PO Box 182944, Arlington. Texas 76096 and Fort
Worth Police Department (FWPI). _350 West Belknap Street. Fort Worth. I exas 76102 a government
corporation of the State of Texas.
WITNESSETI-I, that NHLEA and Fort Worth Police Department, for the consideration hereinafter
named, agree as follows:
ARTICLE I: SCOPE, OF TRAINING
•
A. Authorization for training to be provided
NHLEA is authorised to provide training named Officer Survival of Aggressive and Dangerous Dogs.
Both NIILEA and the Fort worth Police Department shall enact the necessary authorization for this
contract.
B. Responsibility
At all times, NI -ILEA shall maintain responsibility for and control over the instructors and equipment
utilized to provide such training.
ARTICLE 11: ACTIVITIES
A. Training To Be Provided

NIILEA shall provide a certified Instructor or Instructors, for the instruction of Officer Survival of
Aggressive and Dangerous Dogs to the Fort Worth Police Department and it's officers during the time
period of October 23-26. 2012 at the Fort Worth Police Academy, which is located at 1000 Calvert Street,
Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
B. Hours and Dates of Training
The Instructor or Instructors of NI -ILEA shall be available during the following training dates and times:

ARTICLE III: COMPENSATION
A. l'he Fort Worth Police Department shall pay. NI -ILEA a training lee of S 3000.00 on or before the 1st
day of training. Payment can be made by check or credit card to NIILEA from the Fort Worth Police
Department before October 21 2012 and be received by that date, or be hand del ivered before the start
ol'the course date to the instructor at the Fort Worth Police Acadey prior to the start of the first
training class.
B. If said payment is not received before said date. NI I LEA has the right to r i fuse (minim! in until payment
has been received.

ARTICLE Ilia TERMINATION
Either party may terminate its participation itt this training by providing not less than thirty (10) days
advanced \'t-ritte n notice to the other party .
