Home My WebLink AboutContract 51191-A1 CSC No.51191-A1 AMENDMENT No. 1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 51191 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Multatech Engineering, Inc. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 51191, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-28764 on the 26 day of June, 2018 in the amount of $ 350,900. 00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: E. SEMINARY ROAD & MANSFIELD HWY; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1 . Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $26, 707. 00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2 . Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $377, 607. 00. 3. All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect. EXECUTED and EFFECTIVE as of the date last written by a signatory, below. SEMINARY RD & MANSFIELD HWY. These modifications were at the request of the City of Fort Worth Traffic Management. SCOPE MODIFICATIONS 1. PLAN MODIFICATIONS A. Revise base files to remove curb bulb out and reconstruct driveway in SW corner. B. Relocate southern crosswalk across Mansfield Highway. C. Coordinate and incorporate adjacent work as "BY OTHERS" D. Add sheets for the modification of NB and SB medians on Manfield Hwy to shift both left-turn lanes in order to eliminate negative offset. 2. TRAFFIC MODIFICATIONS A. Modify traffic signals to include driveway to the south that was originally removed. B. Revise signal light locations due to modified left turns. C. Revise timing and phasing calculations. D. Relocate Pedestrian Poles due to relocated crosswalk at Mansfield Highway. 3. TxDOT COORDINATION A. Prepare exhibits of scope modifications for TxDOT review and approval B. Revise PIF, ERR and Scope documents C. Revise Cost Estimate D. Create secondary PIF for the addition of left-turn lanes 4. SCHEDULE A. TxDOT Coordination and approval — 7 days B.
