SCOPE This document provides details of the procedures necessary for the successful completion of a Standard Planned Maintenance(PM)service call for the 7900 ICP-MS. It clarifies responsibilities and assures uniforin delivery of the service. Only Support Providers trained and certified by Agilent Technologies will provide the service. Support Providers are Agilent Field Support Engineers(FSE's)and/or Agilent Authorized Support Providers(ASPS). References to other documents are included to supply additional information(such as part numbers)or to provide clarity. Delivery time for completion of the Standard PM call is approximately 8.0 hours. Time starts when the Support Provider arrives at the customer site and ends when he/she leaves the site. The Standard PM Checklist(a separate document)details the steps necessary for completion. NOTE: This document is to be used by Agilent Employees and Agllent ASPS,and is not to be provided to Customers. 2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES In preparation for the service call, the Call Initiator(see section 3.1 below for a definition of the Call Initiator)verifies with the Customer that the Support Provider has: • Access to the ICP-MS scheduled for PM and adequate downtime(typically one day)to complete the procedure. • Adequate working space around the ICP-MS,with all supplies nearby. • A representative(for example, the operator)present at all times when Support Provider is performing this service. • Container for old pump oil and other waste materials and a method for disposing of them. 15-Feb-2017, Rev.1.3 For lalelnal Use Only P/N#G8400-90676 Page 1 of 10 Professional Services Agreement--Exhibit A Page 11 of 54 Agilent 7900 IC12-1013 • ;.••• ApilantTeoMoloplse Scope of Work—Agilent 79001CP-MS Standard PM • Normal operating supplies available including consumables and usage-dependent items such as paper, pens, tune solution, reagents and solvents(glass beakers, funnel, paper towels, cotton swabs) • Access to all ultrasonic bath. • Failure to provide the above may reduce applicable procedures performed fit the PM(that is,oil replacement, ion lens cleaning). 3. AGILENT RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1 Scheduling—The Call Initiator The service call begins with a call to the Customer by the"Call Initiator."
