Re: Cancellation of Interlocal Agreement between the City of Fort Worth, Texas
("City"), and Fort Worth Transportation Authority/Trinity Metro ("Company")
for Increased Transportation Support
Dear Mr. Baulsir:
As you are aware, the City is ending its well-sheltering activities as of the end of
September. Pursuant to Article 2 (Term and Termination) and Article 20 (Notice) of the above
referenced Agreement (Fort Worth CSC No. 54215) (the "Agreement"), the City is hereby
providing written notice of termination of services as of October 1, 2020. The Agreement will
effectively terminate at the end of the day on October 1, 2020, and this termination will release
both parties of any and all further obligations under the Agreement, except those obligations that
accrued as of the effective date of termination and those which survive such termination.
Any payments due for services rendered will be paid in accordance with the terms of the
Agreement, which shall survive this termination notice until fully wrapped up.
Please note, the City regularly conducts audits of services agreements after the agreement
has terminated to ensure compliance. In accordance with the "Right to Audit"provision set forth
in the Agreement, please retain all records related to this Agreement for a minimum of 7 years
after the the final payment under this Agreement has been received. The City will provide you
advance reasonable notice of any intended audits.
The City has enjoyed its working relationship with Trinity Metro for this critical project.
