J& S AUDIO VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS,INC.
FOR RIGGING&AUDIO VISUAL SERVICES FOR
THE FORT WORTH CONVENTION CENTER
This SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 48255 ("Second
Renewal')is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth("City"),a home-rule municipal
corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through Jay Chapa, its duly authorized Assistant City
Manager, and J & S Audio Visual Communications, Inc., d/b/a J&S Audio Visual,Inc., ("Contractor"), a
Texas for profit corporation, acting by and through its duly authorized Vice President.
WHEREAS,the City and Contractor are currently parties to an agreement for rigging and audio
visual services for the Fort Worth Convention Center, the same being City Secretary Contract Number
48255 ("Contract");
WHEREAS, the Contract provides for an initial three-year term, with five optional renewals of
one year each;
WHEREAS,the initial three-year term expired on September 30,2019;
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor exercised the First Renewal Term, which expires on
September 30,2020,the same being City Secretary Contract No.48255;
WHEREAS, the conditions for renewing the Contract for a second renewal term have been
fulfilled, and the parties wish to continue in their relationship by exercising another-renewal option;and
NOW,THEREFORE,the City and Contractor agree to renew the Contract as follows:
1. By execution of this Second Renewal, the City and Contractor agree to renew and extend
the Contract for a second renewal term of one(1)year, beginning on October 1, 2020 and ending
on September 30,2021 ("Second Renewal Term").
2. All terms and provisions of the Contract remain in full force and effect during the Second
Renewal Term unless specifically amended herein. All terms in this Second Renewal that are
capitalized but not defined have the meanings assigned to them in the Contract.
