FIRST RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 52877
A NON-EXCLUSIVE MOWING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND
CEDRIC CARSON
This FIRST RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 52877
("First Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH
("City"), a home-rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly
authorized Assistant City Manager, and CEDRIC CARSON, an individual ("Contractor").
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into a non-exclusive mowing and grounds
maintenance services agreement, City Secretary Contract Number 52877 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a primary term of one year, with four (4)
subsequent one-year renewal options;
WHEREAS, the primary term expires on October 3, 2020;
WHEREAS, City and Contractor desire to extend the Agreement for the first renewal
term;
NOW, THEREFORE,the City and Contractor agree to renew and extend the Agreement
for a portion of the first renewal term as follows:
I.
The City and Contractor agree to renew and extend the Agreement the first renewal term,
effective beginning on October 4, 2020 and ending on October 3, 2021 ("First Renewal Term").
II.
1. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect
except as specifically set forth in this First Renewal.
2. All terms of this First Renewal that are capitalized but not defined have the
meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Renewal to be
effective on October 4, 2020.
