HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 54282-AD2 CSC No.54282-AD2 SECOND ADDENDUM TO COVID-19 TESTING SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE DISTRICT THIS SECOND ADDENDUM TO COVID-19 TESTING SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT ("Addendum") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH, a home rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas("Licensee"or"Ciff")and TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE DISTRICT, a legally constituted community college district,("Licensor'). WHEREAS, Licensor is the owner of certain property located at 4801 Marine Creek Pkwy, Fort Worth,TX 76179,known as the Tarrant County College Northwest Campus; and WHEREAS, due to the COVID-19 outbreak,the City has declared a State of Emergency and has determined that extraordinary and immediate measures must be taken in order to ensure the health and safety of the citizens of the City of Fort Worth and the surrounding area; and WHEREAS,in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19,the City continues to require additional outdoor space to install and operate temporary"pop-up"COVID-19 testing sites throughout the City; and WHEREAS,in support of the City's mission to protect the health and safety of the ctizens of Fort Worth and the surrounding area and to minimize the impacts of COVID-19,Licensor and City previously entered into a COVID-19 Testing Site License Agreement dated August 11,2020(City Secretary Contract No. 54282)(the"Agreement")with a Term expiring on October 6th 2020; and WHEREAS, on October 1, 2020 City and Licensee executed an addendum (City Secretary Contract No. 54282-AD1)to extend the Term through November 6,2020; and WHEREAS, the Agreement allows the Term to be extended by the mutual written agreement of the parties. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and agreements contained in the Agreement,Licensor and Licensee hereby agree as follows: 1. Term Unless terminated earlier pursuant to the terms of the Agreement,the initial term of the Agreement shall be extended through April 21,2021. 2.
