RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 53614
This RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 53614
("Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through its duly
authorized Assistant City Manager, and Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a New York limited liability
partnership ("Consultant"), acting herein by and through its duly authorized Member. The City
and Consultant are individually referred to as a "party" and collectively referred to as the
"parties."
WHEREAS, City and Consultant are currently parties to a contract for consulting
services, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 53614 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for an Initial Term of seven months and up to two
renewal periods of one year each; and
WHEREAS. the parties wish to renew the Agreement for the first renewal period,
commencing October 1, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Fort Worth and Consultant do mutually covenant and agree
as follows:
1.
City and Consultant hereby agree to renew and extend Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract 53614 for a renewal period of one (1) year, beginning on October 1, 2020, and
ending September 30, 2021.
2.
All terms and provisions of City Secretary Contract No. 53614 shall remain in full force
and effect throughout the renewal period except as specifically amended herein.

That this Renewal may be executed in several counterparts, each of which will be
deemed an original, but all of which together will constitute one and the same instrument.
A signature received via facsimile or electronically via email shall be as legally binding
for all purposes as an original signature.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said parties have hereto set their hands and seal of office
to triplicate originals on this 20 day of 11 , 2020.
