Re: Consent to Pool -XTO Energy Inc. Proposed Mira Vista Unit, City of Fort Worth Lease: Being
51.4809 acres of land, more or less, being parts of Tract 1 and Tract 2 described in that certain
General Warranty Deed to the The City of Fort Worth, Texas dated December 21, 1979 and
recorded in Volume 7055,Page 2326, Deed Records,Tarrant County,Texas.
Dear Mr. Midkiff:
Pursuant to the terms of that certain Oil and Gas Lease ("the Lease") dated November 29, 2006
between the City of Fort Worth, as Lessor, and XTO Energy Inc., as Lessee, recorded in
Document No. D207001703, Official Public Records,Tarrant County,Texas, herein requests your
consent to pool a portion of the Lease with the other leases as set forth herein in order to
properly explore, develop and promote conservation of oil and gas in and under the leased
premises.
XTO Energy Inc. is the owner of the oil and gas leases, which are contiguous with the lease. It is
our intention to pool a portion of the City of Fort Worth Lease, approximately 51.4809 acres, to
form the Mira Vista Unit, to comprise approximately 690.331 acres. The configuration of all the
leases and our geological interpretation of the area underlying the leases support our planned
development.
