HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 43416-A3 (2)AMENDMENT No . 3 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT V BM I! oMILACY moo �� 1 �'- WHEREAbi, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Hamilton Civil Engineering, (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 43416, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-25704 on the 10th day of July, 2012 in the amount of '151,464.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment Number 1 in the amount of $29,200.00 which was authorized administratively on September 17, 2013; and Amendment No.2 in the amount of $44,420.00 which was authorized administratively on December 3, 2013; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2011, WSM-D; and WHEREAiS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No.3 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the Following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT. 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated �Sv June 10, 2014, a copy of which is attached hereto and Mincorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $12,400.00 CJ 2. These additional services are required due to the need to replace existing waterlines at one additional location. This Engineering Services Contract Amendment includes a detailed scope of additional services attached to this letter. Hamilton Civil Engineering proposes to provide the attached scope of additional services for the lump sum of $12,400.00. All additional services proposed will be peisformed in accordance with the original contract dated July 19, 2012. A portion of this work will be completed by Spooner & Associates, Inc., our survey subcontractor. Their share of the work will be $5,200.00, or 41.94%. This Amendment, consisting of one page and the attached Additional Scope of Services, consisting of one page, represent the entire amendment to the original agreement between the City of Fort Worth and Hamilton Civil Engineering. If the terms of this Amendment are acceptable, please execute both copies and return one to our office to begin the additional services.
