Re: Notice of Termination of Lease Under City Secretary Contract 54114
Mr.Perez,
This Notice of Termination of Lease is sent in accordance with Fort Worth City Secretary Contract(CSC)
No. 54114.
On December 16,2020,the Aviation Department submitted a Notice to Vacate for Non-Payment of Rent.
That letter was sent in error however the City of Fort Worth (the "City") is now moving forward with the
termination of CSC 54114.
At present the City and Jettison Aviation and Maintenance Services(Jettison) are parties to CSC 54114,
a month-to-month lease agreement for use of certain designated space at Fort Worth Meacham International
Airport(the "Lease"). Due to Jettison's failure to pay over three months of rent in accordance with section 3.1
and 3.2 of the Lease,the City is now terminating this lease agreement.
Therefore,under Section 2 of the Lease(Term of Lease),the City is hereby notifying you of its intent
to terminate City Secretary Contract 54114,effective thirty(30) days from the date of this letter,which is
the same as the date of mailing. In accordance with Section 16 of the Lease(Termination),"all rights,powers
and privileges granted to Lessee [under the Lease] shall cease and Lessee shall immediately vacate the
Premises,"effective 30 days from the date of this letter which is February 6,2021.
Further, this termination letter does not release Jettison from any past-due payments owed to the City
which currently are for an amount of$2,763.20 for unpaid rent including late fees. Be advised that this amount
may increase due to additional late fees if payments continue to not be made up until the date of termination.
If the City does not receive full payment on or before February 6, 2021 of the amounts due, then the City will
have no choice but to begin the process of filing suit against Jettison in Tarrant County, Texas and that
interest (late fees), attorney's fees and court costs, in addition to the principal of the debt owed, be
recovered from your organization.
