SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.52531
A VENDOR SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND
L.J.DESIGN&CONSTRUCTION,LLC
This SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 52531("Second
Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule municipal
corporation of the State of Texas("City"),acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager,
and L.J. Design & Construction, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Contractor"), acting by and
through its duly authorized representative.
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into a Vendor Services Agreement for greenhouse
repairs and maintenance at the Botanic Garden, City Secretary Contract Number 52531, as amended
("Agreement");
WHEREAS,the Agreement provides for a one-year Initial Term, with four(4)optional one-year
Renewal Terms;
WHEREAS,the Initial Term expired on June 27,2020;
WHEREAS,City and Contractor exercised a portion of the First Renewal Term;
WHEREAS,City and Contractor desire to renew and extend the Agreement through the end of the
second one-year renewal term; and
NOW,THEREFORE,City and Contractor agree to renew and extend the Agreement as follows:
I.
The City and Contractor agree to renew and extend the Agreement for the remainder of the First
Renewal Term,effective beginning on October 1,2020 and ending on June 27,2022.
II.
a. All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to this
Second Renewal remain in full force and effect.
b. All terms in this Second Renewal that are capitalized but not defined have the meanings
ascribed to them in the Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and Contractor have executed this Second Renewal in
Tarrant County,Fort Worth,Texas.
