FIRST AMENDMENTAMENDMENT TO FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 53801
This First Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract Number 53801 ("First
Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule municipal
corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through Jesus J. Chapa, its duly
authorized Deputy City Manager, and Century Fire Protection, LLC. ("Vendor"), acting herein by and
through Richard Alan Deeb,its duly authorized President. City and Vendor are individually referred to as
a"party"and collectively referred to as the"parties".
WHEREAS, City and Vendor are currently parties to an agreement for Vendor to provide fire
protection services for City, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 53801 (the
"Agreement");
WHEREAS, the parties wish to add additional City facilities that can be serviced by Vendor
under this Agreement; and
WHEREAS, due to the additional City facilities that will be serviced by Vendor under this
Agreement, an additional amount of funding will also be needed and the parties have agreed to increase
the compensation amount under the Agreement by adding an additional fifty thousand dollars
($50,000.00)per year.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Vendor, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into this First Amendment, which adds the following facilities to Exhibit A of the
Agreement to be serviced by Vendor as follows:

Section 3 "Contract Sum" of the Agreement is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the
following:
3. Contract Sum. City will pay Contractor up to One Million, Five Hundred
Nineteen Thousand, Sixteen Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,519,016.00) ("Contract
Sum") annually over the Initial Term and any Renewal Term to perform the Work.
Contractor will perform the Work in accordance with the price schedule set forth in
Exhibit A.

The following City facilities are hereby added to Exhibit A, "WORK' of the Agreement as
follows:

Except as expressly modified in this First Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain in full force and effect.
All terms in this First Amendment that are capitalized but not defined have the meanings assigned
to them in the Agreement.
