FIRST RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.53801
This First Renewal of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract Number 53801 ("First Renewal")
is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth,a home-rule municipal corporation of the
State of Texas("City"), acting herein by and through its duly authorized representative, and Century Fire
Protection, LLC. ("Vendor"), acting herein by and through Richard Alan Deeb, its duly authorized
President. City and Vendor are individually referred to as a "party" and collectively referred to as the
"parties".
WHEREAS, City and Vendor are currently parties to an agreement for Vendor to provide fire
protection services for City,the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract("CSC")No. 53801;
WHEREAS, the Parties amended CSC No. 53801 to add additional City facilities, the same
being CSC 53801-Al (CSC Nos. 53801 and 53801-Al are collectively referred to herein as the
"Agreement");
WHEREAS,the Initial Term of the Agreement is for one year,beginning on April 13, 2020 and
expiring on April 12,2021,with a options to renew and extend the for four consecutive one-year renewal
terms; and
WHEREAS,the Parties desire to renew and extend the Agreement for one additional year on the
same terms and conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties
agree as follows:
1.
The Parties agree to renew and extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for the
first one-year renewal period, to be effective beginning on April 13, 2021 and expiring on April 12,2022
("First Renewal Term").
2.
All terms in this First Renewal that are capitalized but not defined have the meanings assigned to
them in the Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have executed this First Renewal in Fort Worth, Tarrant
County,Texas.
