WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 42524 (The Contract) which was duly authorized administratively without the
requirement of an Mayor & Council approval, the 4th day of November, 2911; and Amendment No. 1 in
the amount of$1,330.00 was administratively approved on March 29, 2012; and Amendment No.2 in the
amount of$104, 954.00 was approved by City Council on August 21, 2012 (M&C C-25795); and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary for design services to include additional Texas Accessibility
Standards design services for the existing restroom facilities modification; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1, SECTION I--SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a paragraph is added to read as follows:
"Provide Additional Achitectural & Engineering Services to update the existing restrooms to
comply & meet the current Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) requirement. The cost of this
Additional Service is $3,290.00. The Additional Services is described more fully in the Hahnfeld
Hoffer Stanford's letter dated October 3, 2012 subject: Proposal for Additional Services, City of
Fort Worth, Texas, WRMC (Will Rogers Memorial Center) Richardson Bass Exhibit Area, which is
attached hereto as Attachment"A"and made a part of this Agreement."

Paragraph 1 of SECTION V-COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of
$114,584.00 plus up to$10,000.00 in reimbursable expenses."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Dear Mr. Mesa:
I am sending you this proposal for additional services to update the existing restrooms to make them
meet the current TAS requirements, Our original proposal did not include any work in the existing
restrooms; however, after review by our TAS consuftant, the proximity of the existing restrooms to the
proposed project will necessitate their being brought up to date.our proposal to complete architectural
and MEP engineering services for the upgrade of the existing restrooms is for an additional fee of
$3,290.00, (Three Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Dollars and No Cents).
The proposal includes a Fee Worksheet for Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford, as Exhibit`A', and a fee proposal
from Yaggi Engineering, Inc., as Exhibit `B'. Please review and if possible, amend our contract to
include these services.Thank you.

Additional Services—Restroom Upgrade
Dear David:
We appreciate the opportunity to provide the following additional services:
■ MEP engineering services for a new family restroom or renovation of the existing
restrooms specifically necessary to comply with current TAS standards which will
include work to the toilet exhaust system and replacement of plumbing fixtures.
Our proposed additional fee is $2,500. We will begin immediately upon written notice to
proceed.
