FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 55566
This Amendment ("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the
City of Fort Worth ("City") and Housing Channel (hereafter "Agency"), a Texas
non-profit corporation. City and Agency may be referred to individually as a
"Party" and jointly as "the Parties".
WHEREAS, the City and Agency made and entered into City Secretary
Contract No. 55566 ("Contract") on April 13, 2021;
WHEREAS, City applied for and received grant monies from the Texas Department
of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for implementation of the TeXas Emergency
Rental Assistance Program (TERAP) and the TeXas Eviction Diversion Program (TEDP);
WHEREAS, TDHCA provided these funds to City as a sub-allocation of
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds which were previously received
by the State of Texas from the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act
(CARES Act);
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the City and Agency to amend the Contract to
correct an error in the Direct Client Assistance Rental Assistance budget by revising the
amount;
WHEREAS, City believes that the requested amendment will help Agency
meet the program's goals and further the interests of both Agency and City; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of City and Agency to amend the Contract to
complete the Program and meet Contract objectives.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Agency hereby agree to amend the Contract as follows:
I.
Exhibit "B" — Budget attached to the Contract is hereby replaced with the attached
Exhibit "B" — Budget revised 4/2021.
II.
This Amendment is effective as of the effective date the Contract.

All terms and conditions of the Contract not amended herein remain
unaffected and in full force and effect, are binding on the Pallies and are hereby
ratified by the Parties. Capitalized terms not definedherein shall have the meanings
assigned to them in the Contract.
