HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 54953-AD1CSC No. 54953-ADl CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS MASTER AGREEMENT FOR ENGINNERING RELATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ADDENDUM NO. 1 This Addendum No. 01 - Scope of Work (SOW) is made as of M aY 14� 2�21 , under the terms and conditions established in the MASTER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT between the City of Fort Worth ("City") and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. ("Engineer"), the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract (CSC) No. 54953 (the "Master Agreement" or"MSA"). This Scope of Work is made for the following purposes, consistent with the services defined in the Master Agreement: The Design Review of Gulfstream MRO Facility Taxilane at Fort Worth Alliance Airport. In particular, Engineer shall perform those functions identified below in the Scope of Services, as such services are more fully detailed in the MSA. Section A. Scope of Services This scope of work for this contract is for the review of the design for the taxilane connecting Taxiway Hotel and Gulfstream's new Maintenance Repair and Operations facility at Fort Worth Alliance Airport. 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT Management activities will consist of internal project set-up, stakeholder coordination and communication and document control. 1.1 Project Execution Plan A detailed Project Execution Plan will be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The work plan will identify the execution and management of the work throughout the length of the contract. The work plan will include: • Roles and responsibilities of key team members will be confirmed and lines of authority and communication identified. This will be submitted as an organization chart or other type of exhibit that clearly identifies roles, responsibilities and lines of communication. • A detailed Project schedule will be prepared that identifies dates for key meetings, duration of design activities, submittals, deliverables and other important milestones for the completion of the work. 1.2 Document Control The Engineer will manage electronic document retention of project deliverables, including but not limited to; status reports, comment review forms, meeting minutes, invoices and other relevant documentation as needed. WORTH, TX 1.3 Monthly Status Report The Engineer will maintain regular communications with the AFW and other stakeholders. A monthly report will be prepared to demonstrate the progress and status of the work. Themonthly report will be submitted along with the monthly invoice 1.4 Coordination Meetings The Engineer will attend coordination meetings with stakeholders to coordinate and communicate issues related to the Project. It is anticipated that key staff will attend four (4) project coordination meetings. 2 DESIGN REVIEW Jacobs will review the design of the taxilane (drawings and technical specifications) for conformance with applicable FAA design criteria and advisory circulars. It is anticipated that there will be two (2) design submittals, preliminary design and final design. 2.1 Preliminary Design Review A set of drawings that represent approximately 65% complete taxilane design will be submitted to Jacobs for review along with a comprehensive list of applicable technical construction specifications. The geotechnical report and taxilane pavement design report will also be submitted for review at this time. Jacobs will review this information and provide a set of written comments identifying items that are not in compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars and / or accepted airfield design practice. The written comments will be provided to the design engineer for resolution. A comment resolution meeting will be held to review and document the design engineer's responses to the comments. Prior to the final design submittal, the design engineer will conduct a meeting with Jacobs to demonstrate how the comments from the preliminary design have been addressed. The results of this meeting will be documented by Jacobs and a recommendation provided to the City of Fort Worth on proceeding with the final design submittal. 2.2 Final Design Review A set of drawings and technical specifications that represent approximately a 100% complete taxilane design will be submitted to Jacobs for review. Updated geotechnical report and taxilane pavement design report will also be submitted for review, if required. Jacobs will review this information and provide a set of written comments identifying items that are not in compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars and / or accepted airfield design practice. The written comments will be provided to the design engineer for resolution. A comment resolution meeting will be held to review and document the design engineer's responses to the comments. Prior to bidding, the design engineer will conduct a meeting with Jacobs to demonstrate how the comments from the final design review have been addressed. The results of this meeting will be documented by Jacobs and a recommendation provided to the City of Fort Worth on proceeding with the bid phase of the project. Addendum No. 1 to CSC No. 54953 Page 2 of 4 Between the City of Fort Worth and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. 3 EXCLUSIONS The following services are excluded from this scope and will be performed as an additional service, if required for the project: • FAA Airspace Submittals • Review of construction contract "front end" documents • FAA modifications to standards Section B. Schedule: To be determined by contractor schedule. Section C. Compensation, Reimbursable Expenses, and Billinq Terms: Processing and payment of Fees and Reimbursable Expenses, including the structure of payments and invoicing therefor, shall be in accordance with the Master Professional Services Agreement. The total Fee that shall be paid to Engineer for The Design Review of Gulfstream MRO Facility Taxilane at Fort Worth Alliance Airport shall be in accordance with Article 2(a) and Article 3 of the Master Service Agreement. If the City requests additional documentation of expenses, the Engineer shall provide such information if available. A copy of the fee proposal is attached. Engineer shall submit invoices for Fees and Reimbursable Expenses to Tyler Dale in the City's Aviation Department. On full and final completion of the Services for this Scope of Work, the Engineer shall submit a final invoice. Section D. Counteraarts: Electronicallv Transmitted Sianature: This SOW may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which when so executed and delivered shall be considered an original, but such counterparts shall together constitute one and the same instrument and agreement. Any signature delivered by a party by facsimile or other electronic transmission (including email transmission of a portable document file (pdf) or similar image shall be deemed to be an original signature hereto.
