Home My WebLink AboutContract 42524-A4 AMENDMENT NO. 4 to AGREEMENT for ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES RICHARDSON BASS BUILDING EXHIBIT and CATERING at WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL CENTER STATE OF TEXAS § CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. - COUNTY OF TARRANT § WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford (Architect) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 42524 (The Contract)which was duly authorized administratively without the requirement of an Mayor&Council approval, the 4th day of November, 2011; and Amendment No. 1 in the amount of$1,330.00 was administratively approved on March 29, 2012; and Amendment No.2 in the amount of$104, 964.00 was approved by City Council on August 21, 2012 (M&C C-25795); and Amendment No. 3 in the amount of$3,290.00 was administratively approved on October 22, 2012; and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to design and incorporate an audio system in the proposed exhibit and meeting areas in the existing Richardson Bass Building at WRMC and to provide additional probable cost estimating services for a change in scope of work; and NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article 1.1, SECTION I-SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a paragraph is added to read as follows: "Provide additional Engineering Services to design and incorporate an audio system for the proposed exhibit and meeting areas in the existing Richardson Bass Building at WRMC and to provide additional Probable Cost Estimating Services for a change in the scope of work. The cost of these Additional Services is $12,020.00 The Additional Services is described more fully in the Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford's letter dated October 24, 2012 subject: Proposal for Additional Services, City of Fort Worth, Texas, WRMC (Will Rogers Memorial Center) Richardson Bass Exhibit Area, which is attached hereto as Attachment"A"and made a part of this Agreement." 2. Paragraph 1 of SECTION V-COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows: "The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of $126,604.00 plus up to $10,000.00 in reimbursable expenses." 3.
