Home My WebLink AboutContract 50569-A2CSC No. 50569-A2 AMENDMENT No . 2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No.50569 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY} and �'reese and Nicho�s, Inc., {ENGINEER) made and entered into City �Secretary Contract No. 50569, {the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-28635 on the 20 day of May 2018 in the amount of 623,793.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment No. 1, in the amount of $12,000.00, which was administratively authorized on June 24, 2019; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following proj ect : 100333/101630 - Alliance Park Phase I& II Improvements; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2, to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: l. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $39,Q45.QQ. {See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-} 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $674,838.Q0. 3. EXHIBIT'A' ALLIANCE PARK PHASE I& II DESIGN - AMENDMENT #2 EXHIBIT "A" ALLIANCE PARK PHASE I& II DESIGN - AMENDMENT #2 February 19, 2021 bESCRIPTION This request for Amendment #2, as described below, is for additional work to be performed by FNI (Consultant) as requested by the City of Fort Worth (ownerj. This work is related to ongoing project tasks related to the Alliance Park Phase I& II design contract no. 50569. The scope of work outlined below is for the design and production work needed to create construction documents for a 5th soccer field, floodplain coordination, updated sur�ey control points, and extended grading. AMENDMENT TASKS 1} DESIGN SERVICES FOR 5T" SOCCER FIELD: 1. The original contract pro�ided design and construction documents for four (4} soccer fields per the exhibit "Attachment E." This request includes the additional design, layout, and grading of a 5t" soccer field located within the Phase I& I I project limits. There were additional efforts for the lighting design of this field. The design plans for this additional field is documented in all submittals listed in the original contract. TASK 1 FEE — LUMP SUM: 2} AbbITIONAL FLOObPLAIN bEVELOPMENT COORbINATION: $25,329.00 Efforts beyond the original scope were expended to obtain appro�al of the park drainage. For the completion of the Floodplain De�elopment Permit, it was requested that FN I research and redo modeling. Initial models pro�ided by the City at the beginning of the project aren't accepted any longer. The City requested that FNI pro�ide an iSWM submittal for the site. An iSWM submittal was initially understood as out of scope for this project. After a meeting with City staff, the submittal task was reduced in scope and altered into a sealed drainage study memo. There were follow up requests for additional calculations as part of this memo. TASK 2 FEE — LUMP SUM: $10,126.00 3} UPbATEb SURVEY CONTROL POINTS: 1. This effort was to generate new control points for the sur�ey information of Alliance Park following the reconstruction of Litsey Road. The original control points pro�ided on site were remo�ed in the roadway's reconstruction.
