The change order will allow for the replacement of an old defective leaking double disc gate valve that
was encountered during construction in Sycamore Park. Since the valve cannot be shut off, Water Field
Operations requested that the valve be replaced via this contract.
Staff concurs with contractor's request for two additional days on the change order.
