The change order will provide the necessary pay item quantities to allow for the realignment of the project
24-inch sewer main due to conflict with a previously unknown storm drain structure. The change includes
the addition of a access shaft and manhole at station 7+ 27 and the abandonment of 20 feet of installed
tunnel that cannot be utilized due to the conflict.
Staff recommends the approval of an additional 21 calendar days for the change order.
