FIRST RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50937,
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND
EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES OF TEXAS,INC.,
This FIRST RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No 50937("Renewal")is
made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule municipal corporation
of the State of Texas,acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Edlen
Electrical Exhibition Services of Texas, Inc., a Texas corporation, acting by and through its duly
authorized representative.
WHEREAS, the City and Edlen are currently parties to an agreement for exclusive
electrical distribution,plumbing and compressed air services for the Fort Worth Convention Center
and Will Rogers Memorial Center, the same being City Secretary Contract Number 50937
("Contract");
WHEREAS, the Contract provides for an initial three-year term, with one additional two
(2) year period under the same terms and conditions;
WHEREAS, the initial three-year term expires on June 30, 2021;
WHEREAS, the conditions for renewing the Contract for a renewal have been fulfilled,
and the parties wish to continue in their relationship by exercising the renewal option; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City and Edlen agree to renew the contract as follows:
1. By execution of this Renewal, the City and Edlen agree to renew and extend the
Contract of two years, beginning July 1, 2021 and ending on June 30, 2023.
2. All terms and provisions of the Contract remain in full force and effect during the
Renewal Term unless specifically amended herein. All terms in this Renewal that are
capitalized but not defined have the meanings assigned to them in the Contract.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Edlen have caused this Renewal to be
executed and delivered by their duly authorized representatives in Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas.
