SECOND AMENDMENT AND
FIRST RENEWALTO FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 51756
This Second Amendment and First Renewal to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract
No. 51756 ("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a
home-rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through
Fernando Costa, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Garver, LLC ("Engineer"), a
Texas limited liability company, acting by and through Josh Crawford, its duly authorized Texas
Aviation Director, each individually referred to as a "Party" and collectively referred to as the
"Parties'.
WHEREAS, City and Engineer are currently parties to an agreement for on-call
engineering services which includes design, bidding, and construction phase services at Fort
Worth Meacham International Airport, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract
No. 51756 (the "Agreement");
WHEREAS,the Agreement was Amended on June 5, 2020 to increase the compensation
amount under the Agreement and to amend the initial term which set a definitive expiration of
the initial term and allowed for one (1), one-year renewal;
WHEREAS, the initial term of Agreement was to expire on May 31, 2021;
WHEREAS, prior to the end of the initial term, the parties agreed to continue this
Agreement for a one year renewal term as permitted under the Agreement which the parties
would now like to memorialize through a Renewal that will be for a period beginning on June 1,
2021 and ending on May 31, 2022;
WHEREAS, the Engineer has additionally requested, and the City has agreed, to amend
the Agreement to reflect new hourly labor rates which will be reflected within Exhibit"B" of the
Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENT, City and Engineer do
mutually agree as follows:
1.
Exhibit B, "Engineer Invoice" of the Agreement is hereby amended by adding the 2021
rate schedule listed in Attachment"A"to this Amendment.
2.
The City and Engineer hereby agree to renew and extend this Agreement for the first
renewal term, beginning on June 1, 2021 and ending on May 31, 2022.

Except as expressly modified in this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of Fort
Worth City Secretary Contract Number 51756, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said parties have hereto set their hands and seal of office
to triplicate originals on this day of Aug 24,2021 , 2021.
