THIRD AMENDMENT
TO FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 53150
This Third Amendment to City Secretary Contract No. 53150 ("Amendment") is entered
into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home rule municipal corporation organized
under the laws of the State of Texas, and Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and
Urban Affairs, Inc., a District of Columbia non-profit corporation ("Consultant"), collectively the
"parties."
WHEREAS, on December 4, 2019,the parties previously entered into City of Fort Worth
City Secretary Contract No. 53150(the"Contract"),for the provision of consultant services related
to police interactions with the public;
WHEREAS, on November 4, 2020, and pursuant to M&C 20-0779, the parties agreed to
extend the Contract to September 30, 2021 and amend certain terms of the Contract concerning
compensation;
WHEREAS, on August 20, 2021 the parties agreed to amend the Contract to extend the
expiration date to November 1, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to further amend the Contract to extend the expiration date
to January 16, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, Parties, acting herein by the through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement to amend the Contract:
I.
The Parties agree to extend the Contract,under the same terms and conditions,with a
new expiration date of January 16, 2022, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms
of the Contract.
II.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
