SECOND RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 53714,A
NON-EXCLUSIVE MOWING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR SOUTHWEST RIGHT-OF-WAYS BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND LAWN
PATROL SERVICE,INC.
This SECOND RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
NUMBER 53714 ("Second Renewal and Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the
CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a home-rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by
and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and LAWN PATROL SERVICE, INC.
("Contractor"),a Texas corporation,acting by and through its duly authorized representative.
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into a non-exclusive mowing and grounds
maintenance services agreement,City Secretary Contract Number 53714 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a primary term of one year, with four (4) subsequent
one-year renewal options;
WHEREAS,the primary term expired on November 30,2020;
WHEREAS,the City and Contractor exercised the First Renewal and Amendment Option,which
expires on November 30,2021 the same being CSC No. 53714-R1A1;
WHEREAS,the parties desire to exercise the second one-year renewal term, effective beginning
on December 1,2021 and ending on November 30,2022;
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for on-call mowing services on either an individual or
recurring basis at pricing equivalent to comparable;
WHEREAS, the Contractor desires to provide certain on-call mowing services for the City in
accordance with the terms of the Agreement and this Second Renewal and Amendment;
WHEREAS, Contractor requested a unit price increase of 3.0% for work that it performs at
certain locations throughout the City; and
NOW,THEREFORE,the City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the Agreement for one
additional year as follows:
I.
Contractor will provide on-call mowing services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement
and Exhibit B-1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. All provisions of
related to on-call mowing in the Agreement, including, but not limited to, the non-exclusivity of the on-
call mowing projects,remain in full force and effect.
II.
The City and Contractor agree to renew and extend the Agreement for the second renewal term of
one year,effective beginning on December 1,2021 and ending on November 30,2022.

III.
All unit prices in Exhibit B of the Agreement,including any previous On-Call amendments if applicable,
pertaining to grounds maintenance are hereby amended to increase the pricing by 3.0%for all locations
set forth in ITB/RFP No. 20-0043.
IV.
1. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect except as
specifically set forth in this Second Renewal and Amendment.
2. All terms of this Second Renewal and Amendment that are capitalized but not defined
have the meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and Contractor have executed this Second Renewal and
Amendment to be effective on December Isl,2021.
