FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 56886
This Amendment("Amendment")is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort
Worth ("City") and CPS HR Consulting ("Consultant") by and through their duly authorized
agents. City and Consultant may be referred to individually as "Party" and jointly as "Parties."
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant made and entered into City Secretary Contract No.
56886 ("Agreement") on December 27, 2021;
WHEREAS,the Agreement provides that Consultant will assist the City in the process of
conducting an executive search to select a new City Auditor;
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that in the event initial recruitment efforts do not
result in a successful appointment, Consultant will extend recruiting efforts until an offer is made
and accepted;
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of City and Consultant to amend the Agreement to
extend the term of the Agreement and provide more time for Consultant's recruiting efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant hereby agree to amend the Agreement as
follows:
I.
Section 2. TERM. is deleted in its entirety and replaced by the following:
2. Term. This Agreement shall begin on the date signed by the Assistant City
Manager below ("Effective Date") and shall expire on September 30, 2022
("Expiration Date"),unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Agreement.
II.
All terms and conditions of the Agreement not amended herein remain unaffected and in
frill force and effect, are binding on the Parties and are hereby ratified by the Parties.
III.
This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an
original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or
computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the
same effect as an original.
