FIRST AMENDMENT TO NON-EXCLUSIVE FIRE SPRINKLERS AND
SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH AND ORIENTAL BUILDING SERVICES,INC.
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 57522
This First Amendment to the NON-EXCLUSIVE FIRE SPRINKLERS AND
SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS SERVICES AGREEMENT ("First Amendment"), Fort Worth
City Secretary Contract No. 57522, between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a Texas
home rule municipal corporation and IDEAL FIRE AND SECURITY,LLC("Vendor"),a Texas
Limited Liability Company, each individually referred to as a"party"and collectively referred to
as the "parties."
WHEREAS City and Vendor entered into an agreement for fire sprinkler and suppression
systems services,said agreement being identified as Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 57522
and having an effective date of May 6, 2022 (the"Agreement"); and
WHEREAS City and Vendor now wish to amend the Agreement for the first time to
provide that services may be provided at any City facility and to account for the filing fees
necessary for the annual inspection of backflow devices.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Vendor, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, agree to the following terms:
1. Amendment of Scope of Services. The services and fees included in the Agreement's
Exhibit A— Scope of Services and Exhibit B—Payment Schedule are amended to provide that all
services included in Exhibit A — Scope of Services may be provided at any City facility and to
allow for the Vendor to charge City for the $15.00-per-backflow-device fee necessary to submit
annual inspection reports on behalf of the City.
2. All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. Total payment made under the
Agreement shall not exceed Two Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Dollars
and 00/100 ($237,740.00).
