HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 56203-R1 CSC No. 56203-Rl RENEWAL NO. 1 TO CITY OF FORT WORTH CONTRACT 56203 This Renewal is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth(hereafter"City"), a home-rule municipality, with its principal place of business at 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas, and KIMBERLY ZABLUD ("Vendor"). City and Vendor shall be referred to individually as a Party and collectively as the Parties. WHEREAS,on August 23,2021,the Parties entered into City Secretary Contract 56203 (the"Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the Agreement was executed for the Vendor to formulate an action plan to prepare the City's Genealogy, Local History, and Archives unit to move to its new facility while helping Library and City staff make decisions about which materials will be moved to the new location and which service model will be used going forward; and WHEREAS, the Agreement was set to begin on August 23, 2021, ("Effective Date") and inadvertently set to expire on May 31, 2021 ("Expiration Date"); and WHEREAS, the Parties amended the Agreement to adjust the Expiration Date to May 31, 2022 ("Expiration Date") on December 2, 2021; and WHEREAS,the Agreement allows renewals and City and Vendor now wish to renew the term of the Agreement for continued services pursuant to the original Agreement for an additional year, specifically from June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023. NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement: 1. RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT The term of the Agreement is hereby renewed for an additional year to begin on June 1, 2022 and expire on May 31, 2023, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Agreement. 2. ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME All other provisions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. 3. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE This Renewal may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the same effect as anoriginal.
