RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT NO. 2
TO
CITY OF FORT WORTH CONTRACT NO. 53859
This Second Amendment to City of Fort Worth Contract No. 53859 ("Second
Amendment") is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("Buyer"), a home rule
municipality, with its principal place of business at 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas, and
Bean Electrical, Inc. ("Vendor"), Buyer and Vendor may be referred to individually as a Party
and collectively as the Parties.
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2020, the Parties entered into City Secretary Contract 53859 to
provide Miscellaneous Utility Work for Flood Warning ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend and renew the Agreement to change, add, and
remove certain line items in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties, acting herein by the through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement:
1. The total compensation under the Agreement is hereby amended to $134,782.00
and the following line item changes are also agreed upon:
a. Line item#1: Concrete foundation unit price is increased from $3,500 to
$4,200 without change in quantity.
b. Line item#2: Breakaway base, Pelco PB-5334 unit price is increased from
$400 to $480 with quantity reduced from 5 to 3.
C. Line item#3: Pelco collar PB-5325 unit price is increased from $200 to
$240 with quantity reduced to 4.
d. Line item#4: Pelco 4" sch-40 threaded one end pole unit price is
increased from $570 to $684 with reduced quantity to 2.
e. Line item#7: Adalet cabinet 24 x 25 x 8 SS box unit price is increased
from $1,620 to $1,944 for reduced quantity to 3.
f. Line item#9: Flasher enclosure Adalet unit price is increased from$180
to $216 for reduced quantity of 4.
g. Line item#10: SS unistrut 24" and struct clamps unit price is increased
from $50 to $60 for reduced quantity of 10.
h. Line item#11: Mast 6' aluminum unit price is increased from $140 to
$168 for reduced quantity of 4.
i. Line item#12: Metal conduit 1 '/2"with below ground installation and re-
sodding unit price is increased from $140 to $168 and quantity reduced to 150.
j. Line item#13: PVC conduit 1 '/2" with installation and re-sodding unit
price is increased from$50 to $60 with quantity reduce to 146.
k. Line item#14: Metal conduit 1 '/2" installation braced to street or storm
drain unit price increased from $50 to $60 with quantity reduced to 165.
1. Line item#15: Metal conduit 1 ''/z" installation for manholes unit price
increased from $50 to $60 with quantity reduced to 76.

in. Line item #16: Metal conduit 1 '/2" installation for inlet vaults unit price
increased from $50 to $60.
n. Line item #18: Transport, storage and re-installation of flasher and master
assemblies unit price is unchanged and quantity is reduced from 5 to 4.
o. Line item#22: Set Ground Boxes unit price is increased from $700 to
$800 with no change in quantity.
P. Line item #23: Delineators unit price is increased from $75 to $90 with
quantity reduced from 98 to 77.
q. Line item#24: Labor rate with equipment quantity is reduced to 46 hours
with no change in unit price.
r. The following line items are removed: Line items #5, #6, #8, and#17,
S. The following line item is added:
Line item#25: Furnish and install City signage at unit price of$550 with
quantity of 15 for total of$8,250.00
2. The Agreement is hereby renewed for a term of one year through April 27, 2023.
3. All other provisions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein
shall remain in full force and effect.
4. This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall
be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or
computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the
same effect as an original.
