To save cost, improve safety and provide a more aesthetically pleasing sidewalk appearance, more of the contluit was placed by boring (Item III-3) insteatl of open cut. Atlditionally, the contluit serving the pedestrian lights was found to be too large for the pole bases and the 1 1/2" conduit, which was added in Change Order #4, was used instead. 2. 618 2018 CONDT (PVC)(SCHD 40)(2") (ITEM A-4) These conduit quantities were retlucetl by 1,705 LF.
