HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 52547-A2 AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SYCAMORE COMMUNITY CENTER— RENOVATION AND REHABILITATION OF EXISTING FACILITY STATE OF TEXAS 52547-A2 CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. COUNTY OF TARRANT WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Elements of Architecture, Inc. (Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 52547 (The Contract) which was authorized administratively, the 15th day of July, 2019, for Facility Assessment of the existing facility; and Amendment No. 1 was approved on February 16, 2021 by M&C 21-0120; and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the design services agreement for additional architectural design services for the modification of an existing utility room. NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows: (3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of the Sycamore Community Center Renovation project. The cost of this additional service is $5,290.00 plus $200.00 in reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in Elements of Architecture, Inc.' s Letter dated August 16tt' 2022, subject: "Proposal for Additional Services 01 — Sycamore Community Center, Utility Room Changes. 2. Article II — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows: "Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown in Attachment "C". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services described in Attachment "C". However, the total fee paid by the City shall not exceed a total of $240,082.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually agree upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement accordingly." We have defined our scope of services for this project as follows: SCOPE OF SERVICES 1. Revise drawings to modify existing break room into a utility room and issue as a revision. 2. Estimated 2 additional Shop Drawing submittal reviews 3. Estimated 1 additional RFI Clarification to Docs 4. Estimated 1 additional OACs/Site Visits Exclusions and Qualifications to This Proposal: 1. We have not included any structural engineering nor do we believe this is required for this project. PROPOSED FEE Labor We propose to provide our services as identified in this proposal for the lump sum amount as follows: Architectural Services $3,590 MEP Engineering $1,700 PROJECT LABOR TOTAL $5,290 Expenses Reimbursable expenses are in addition to the labor fees listed above and include costs incurred as required for the project such as printing costs, etc. Additional Expenses are Page 1 of 2 Elements of Architecture, Inc. 1 1201 6th Avenue, Suite 100, Fort Worth, Texas 76104 1 817.333.2880 estimated at $200.
