THIRD RENEWAL AND FIRST AMENDMENT OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
NO. 52877,A NON-EXCLUSIVE MOWING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND
CEDRIC CARSON
This THIRD RENEWAL AND FIRST AMENDMENT OF CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NUMBER 52877 ("Third Renewal and First Amendment") is made and entered
into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH("City"), a home-rule municipal corporation
of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and
CEDRIC CARSON, an individual ("Contractor").
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into a non-exclusive mowing and grounds
maintenance services agreement, City Secretary Contract(CSC)Number 52877 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a primary term of one year, with four (4)
subsequent one-year renewal options;
WHEREAS, the primary term expired on October 3, 2020;
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor exercised the First Renewal Option, which expired
on October 3, 2021,the same being CSC No. 52877-R1;
WHEREAS,the City and Contractor exercised the Second Renewal Option,which expires
on October 3, 2022,the same being CSC No. 52877-R2;
WHEREAS, City and Contractor desire to extend the Agreement for the third one-year
renewal option;
WHEREAS, Contractor requested a unit price increase of 5.0% for work that it performs
at certain locations throughout the City; and
NOW,THEREFORE,the City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the Agreement
for one additional year as follows:
I.
The City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the Agreement for the third renewal
term, effective beginning on October 4,2022 and ending on October 3,2023 ("Third Renewal and
First Amendment").
II.
All unit prices in Exhibit B of the Agreement,including any previous On-Call amendments
if applicable, pertaining to grounds maintenance are hereby amended to increase the pricing by
5.0%for all locations set forth in ITB/RFP No. 19-0000011.

1. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect
except as specifically set forth in this Third Renewal and First Amendment.
2. All terms of this Third Renewal and First Amendment that are capitalized but not
defined have the meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties hereto have executed this Third Renewal and First
Amendment to be effective on October 4, 2022.
