RENEWAL 1 AND AMENDMENT 1 TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 57188
PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT
This Renewal and Amendment is executed by and between the CITY OF FORT
WORTH (hereafter "City"), a home rule municipal corporation, and TEXAS A&M AGRILIFE
EXTENSION SERVICE ("Performer"). City and Performer are each individually referred to
herein as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 57188 (the"Agreement") on March 1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement was executed for Performer to provide educational programs
for Library patrons; and
WHEREAS,the term of the Agreement expires on January 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement allows for annual renewals so long as the Parties agree to
renew the Contract; and
WHEREAS, the City and Performer now wish to renew the term of the Agreement for
continued services pursuant to the original Agreement for an additional year, specifically from
February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024;and
WHEREAS,the Parties also wish to amend the Agreement to add additional Performance
Dates to Attachment A of the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Performer acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to renew the contract:

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
The following terms are hereby amended to replace the referenced terms in the
Agreement and shall be binding and enforceable as if they were originally included therein.
A. ATTACHMENT A—PERFORMANCE DATES. is hereby deleted and replaced in
its entirety with the attached revised Attachment A-Performance Details.

The term of the Agreement is hereby renewed for an additional year to begin on February
1, 2023 and expire on January 31, 2024, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the
Agreement.
3.
ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME
All other provisions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.

ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
This Renewal and Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of
which shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument.
A facsimile copy or computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be
treated as and shall have the same effect as an original.
