HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 57958-A1R1CSC No. 57958-AlR1 AMENDMENT NO. 1 AND RENEWAL NO. 1 TO FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 57958 This Amendment No. 1 and Renewal No. 1 to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 57958 ("Amendment') is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home - rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through Fernando Costa, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and United Group Incorporated ("Vendor"), acting herein by and through Heather Gray, its duly authorized Vice President. City and Vendor are individually referred to as a "party" and collectively referred to as the "parties". WHEREAS, City and Vendor are currently parties to an agreement for Vendor to provide products for Fort Worth Police Communications, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 57958 (the "Agreement'); WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a 1-year initial term with two, one-year automatic renewal terms; WHEREAS, the parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the maximum amount to be expended under the contract, for the initial term or any following renewal term, to a total not to exceed $50,000.00. NOW THEREFORE, known by all these present, Fort Worth and Vendor, acting herein by the through their duly authorized representatives, agree to the following terms, which amend the Agreement as follows: 1. The Agreement is hereby amended by deleting paragraph on Compensation, of the Agreement in its entirety and replacing it with the following: Compensation. City shall pay Vendor in accordance with the fee schedule in Exhibit A and in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. Total payment made under this Agreement for the first year by City shall be in the amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars and no Cents ($50,000.00). Vendor shall not provide any additional items or services or bill for expenses incurred for City not specified by this Agreement unless City requests and approves in writing the additional costs for such services. City shall not be liable for any additional expenses of Vendor not specified by this Agreement unless City first approves such expenses in writing. 2. Pursuant to the Contract, contract renewals are at the mutual agreement of the OFFICIAL RECORD parties. City is requesting to renew the Contract for an additional one (1) year CITY SECRETARY period, which will begin immediately after the Expiration Date. Term dates are FT.
