Renewal Term No. 4: January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023
The above referenced Contract with the City of Fort Worth will expire on December 31,
2022. Pursuant to the Contract, contract renewals are at the sole option of the City. This letter is
to inform you that the City is exercising its right to renew the Contract for an additional one (1)
year period, which will begin on January 1, 2023. All other terms and conditions of the Contract
remain unchanged. Please return this signed acknowledgement letter, along with a copy of
your current insurance certificate, to the address set forth below, acknowledging receipt of
the Contract Renewal Notice. Failure to provide a signed acknowledgment does not affect
the renewal.

EXPLANATION
Attached is the Fourth Renewal to CSC 52300, the City's contract with Vertical VAR/SPS VAR
LLC for professional services, maintenance and support for the IBM servers that the Water Billing
System utilizes. M&C 21-0470 amended the Vertical VAR professional services agreement, CSC
52300, for the acquisition of a server upgrade that included three years of maintenance and
support for the new hardware. That portion of the contract is paid through 2024. The current
expected costs will cover professional service needs, and the maintenance and support of the
older hardware which is now the Test system. The spending authority for CSC 52300 equals
$320,000.00; however, FY23 expenditures are expected not to exceed $195,000.00 per the FY23
approved budget.
