AMENDMENT 1 AND RENEWAL 1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 57656
COOPERATIVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
This Amendment and Renewal is executed by and between SCHOLASTIC INC.
("Vendor")and the City of Fort Worth("City"),a Texas home rule municipality.City and Vendor
are each individually referred to herein as a"Party"and collectively as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2022, the Parties entered into City Secretary Contract 57656 for
Vendor to provide services and goods ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the current term of the Agreement expires on November 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement allows for renewals under the same terms and conditions for
two one-year renewal options by written agreement of the Parties except with respect to Pricing,
which shall be determined in accordance with Vendor's then current pricing schedule for TIPS
members; and
WHEREAS, the City and Vendor now wish to renew the term of the Agreement for
continued services pursuant to the original Agreement for an additional year, specifically from
December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023 (the "Renewal Period"). The attached Catalog Discount
and PLS Pricing Schedule shall apply for the Renewal Period.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Vendor acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to renew the contract:
1.
Exhibit A is hereby amended by incorporating the attached Scholastic Inc. Catalog
Discount Schedule and the Scholastic Professional Learning Services Price Schedule.
2.
The term of the Agreement is hereby renewed for an additional year and will expire
November 30, 2023 ("the Renewal Period") unless terminated earlier in accordance with the
Agreement. The attached Catalog Discount and PLS Pricing Schedules shall apply for the Renewal
Period.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
4.
This Amendment and Renewal may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which
shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy
or computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have
the same effect as an original.

Upon approval of an agreement/contract between the District and Scholastic Inc., educators will be able to
purchase items from the following Scholastic Inc.catalogs:
• 2022-2023 Scholastic Education Solutions Catalog in effect from 09/01/22-08/31/23
• 2022 Scholastic Teaching Solutions Catalog in effect from 01/01/22—12/31/22
• 2023 Scholastic Teaching Solutions Catalog in effect from 01/01/23-12/31/23(when published)
In order to most effectively find the products that are eligible for purchase under this contract, we recommend

Once on the site, choose"eCatalog"from the left menu bar, and then choose "Scholastic Education Solutions from
the list of catalogs, in the white box.This will take you to the electronic version of the catalog in order to browse
through the programs and products Scholastic has to offer and to place an order. Orders may be placed through
the Teacher Store Online or you may request a custom quote from your sales representative.
The 2022-2023 Scholastic Education Solutions Catalog Grades PreK-12 with prices in effect from 9/1/22-8/31/23

• Printed and blended instructional materials, paperback collections,and individual paperbacks are
discounted 25%.The list prices and discounted prices are printed in the catalog for your convenience.
• Magazines+There is a 10%shipping and handling fee for printed editions based on the cost of your order.
Full-year subscriptions are prorated according to start date. Magazines+are offered at 0%discount off
