FIRST' AMENDMENT TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.58967
This First Amendment to 1'yc-Barker Eire Suppression ("First Amendment") is made.
between the City of Port Worth ("F`ort. Worth"); a municipal corporation and Pye-Barker Fire &
Safety,UC,.a; limited liability company ("Vendor.").
WHEREAS, Fort Worth wind Vendor eiitered into an Agreelricpt identified as Folt Worth
City Secretary CUtract No:58967 begnining April 1st, 20D (the. "Agreement")- and
W14EREA.S., it is ti?e collective desire of both. Fort Worth and Vendor to amend. the
Agreement by modifying its exhibit to include additional scope of work acid specifications,
including itezns, .included with the original.bid solicitation attached to the Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, known by all these present, Fort Worth.and Vendor, acting herein by
and through their duly authorized representatives,.agrec to the following terms, which amend the
Agreement as foilows:_
1. Exhibit A-1 of the: Agreement is hereby amended to include theinformation in the
Ex.h.ibit A-1,. attached to this First Amendment.
2. All other terms, provisions, conditions, cove.itants.and recitals of:the Agreement not
expressly arnended herein shall remain in full force and effect.

8.1,1. The vendor; shall provide all labor, materials, .parts, tools and equipment
necessary to: perform maintenance, repair, .inspectibn and. testing of fare
sprinkler systems, and suppressioft systems in city owned/operated facilities
in accordance with the latest edition of all applicable Local. State, and
Federal lsaws,.. Codes. and Regulations. No additional charges will .be
accepted or ]laid by the City.
8.1.2 All service, regular and special, shall berendered at such tijncs:and in such a
manner that will result in minimum interference with the normal facility
operatibhs.
8:1:3 Annual. inspections (Up to and incl«ding anr►iial. Backf7ow Prevention. and
inspection) for City shall beg4 in April of each year and: be completed by

8:14 All. inspection.reports shall describe each device in the system in line -item
format that includes type, location, and status of each device. These reports
shdl I be computer' generated.
8-1.5 Ali inspection reports and invoices for inspections shall be submitted to the
City's ordering division no. later than June 15th of the same year
8.1.6 Contractor shall be responsible For .obtaining any required permift in the
performance of the work=
8.6.7 The purpose is to provide inspections that will be performed under the
guidance of NF.PA-25 that entails both rnechanical..and Visual inspections
of the. existing components only. This is not an engineering review: This
inspection is. not .intended to ensure..the systems adequacy for any particular
occupancy re.equirements or to .identify system :cleticiencies as they relate to
the.sprinkler systetn.design density.
