FIRST AMENDMENT OF
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 57264
This FIRST AMENDMENT OF FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
NO. 57264 ("First Amendment") is made between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a
Texas home rule municipal corporation, acting by and through its authorized Assistant City
Manager, and IREF BIG BALLS UP, INC. ("Vendor"), a Texas corporation, acting by and
through its duly authorized representative. City and Vendor are referred to herein individually as
a ("Party") and collectively as the ("Parties").
WHEREAS, on May 18, 2022, City and Vendor entered into a Vendor Services
Agreement for Vendor to provide adult softball referee services at Gateway Park softball field,
located at 751 Beach St., Fort Worth, Texas, 76111, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract ("CSC") No. 57264 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides an initial term of one-year and no renewal options;
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the Parties to amend the Agreement to extend the
initial term to expire July, 17, 2023; and
NOW THEREFORE, the Parties, acting through their duly authorized representatives,
agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
I.
Article 2 of the Agreement is hereby amended to be and read as follows:
2. Term. The initial term of this Agreement is effective beginning on the date
that this Agreement is executed by the City' s Assistant City Manager ("Effective
Date") and will expire on July 17, 2023; unless terminated earlier in accordance
with this Agreement ("Initial Term"). City will have the option, in its sole
discretion, to renew this Agreement under the same terms and conditions, for up to
zero (0) one-year renewal option(s) (each a "Renewal Term").
II.
1. All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant
to this First Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
2. All terms in this First Amendment that are capitalized but not defined shall have
the same meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.
