RENEWAL 2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 56684
VENDOR SERVICE AGREEMENT
This Renewal is executed by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home -rule
municipal corporation and MARCIVE, Inc. ( "Vendor"). City and Vendor are each individually
referred to herein as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 56684 ("Agreement") on November 16, 2021;
WHEREAS, Agreement was executed for Vendor to provide the Fort Worth Public
Library with Authority Control Services;
WHEREAS, City has the option, in its sole discretion, to renew this Agreement under the
same terms and conditions, for up to four (4) one-year renewal options;
WHEREAS, Parties previously renewed the Agreement to expire on July 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, City and Vendor now wish to renew the term of the Agreement for continued
services pursuant to the original Agreement for an additional year, specifically from August 1,
2023 to July 31, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Vendor acting herein by the through their duly -authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement to renew the contract:

The term of the Agreement is hereby renewed for an additional year and will expire July
31, 2024, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Agreement. The attached document
from Vendor is hereby attached and incorporated for all purposes as Attachment A. In the event
of any conflict between the Agreement or this Renewal and Attachment A, the Agreement and this
Renewal shall control over Attachment A.
2.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
3.
This Renewal may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an original
nd 11 of hich sh 11 constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or computer image,
such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the same effect as an
original.

email. If required by your institution, please request a purchase order to facilitate the payment process. Please send
MARCIVE a copy of your Purchase Order. We must receive written notice of intent to renew your subscription before
the expiration date to avoid cancellation and permanent loss of data (even if service is reinstated at a later time).
Therefore, please return this letter before the expiration date.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Once a subscription has been started or renewed, the library may terminate its agreement
provided MARCIVE receives in writing a request to cancel from the person who signed the original order or other
authorized person. Oral notification is not sufficient. The amount refunded will be equal to 80% of the prorated amount
remaining on the subscription.
